Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations and ensure smooth sourcing of goods. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and maintaining the right inventory levels to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage purchasing activities across all product categories
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely procurement
- Analyse purchasing data and market trends to improve sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with management on demand forecasting and supply planning
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate records and prepare procurement reports
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain are a plus
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Experience working with suppliers, wholesalers, or retail distribution
- Hands-on experience in inventory management and procurement processes
Skills
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good planning and organisational abilities
- Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management tools
