Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Manager who can drive growth and build meaningful partnerships. This role is focused on identifying new opportunities, strengthening supplier relationships, and supporting strategies that increase sales and market reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and partners
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and expand market presence
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships
- Track sales performance and prepare reports for senior management
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve overall business performance
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- Additional training in business development or sales is a plus
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or retail management
- Experience in strategy development and identifying growth opportunities
- Exposure to working with suppliers, partners, or clients in a commercial setup
Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Relationship-building and networking skills
- Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to analyse market trends and performance data
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and reporting tools
